Mahila Desk

To exclusively deal with women related cases, there are dedicated Mahila Desks at all regular Police Stations with a designated Desk Officer and an Assistant. They also undertake counseling of disputes arising out of marital discord between married couples.

Two dedicated Mahila Police Stations are functioning — one at Bhubaneswar near No. I Market and another beside Cuttack Police Reserve.

Women SPOs

Women Special Police Officers help expand the information base regarding crimes against women.

Student Traffic Volunteers

Students assist traffic police and promote awareness about traffic rules.

Various indoor and outdoor activities are organized to celebrate women related events.
