Delivery of services to the citizens in a time bound manner is the hallmark of Good Governance. Keeping with the ethos of a Welfare State, Government of Odisha has passed a landmark legislation "the Odisha Right to Public Services Act, 2012" that guarantees the delivery of public services to the citizens in a time bound manner.
Citizen centric Portal has been developed by National Crime Records Bureau, New Delhi and provided to the States/UTs which is popularly named as “Citizen Portal”. The purpose of the Citizen Portal is to provide a number of online services to citizens. Odisha Police has committed to delivering time-bound services to citizens by the use of new-age technology. We are constantly looking for ways through which some of the services can be availed without the requirement of physically visiting a Police Station in a hassle-free manner from the comfort of home or from any other place and at any time. Citizens can avail these services by downloading “Sahayata” Mobile App (available both in Android and iOS operating systems) on their Mobile devices.
