Ahead of the Prime Minister’s visit to Odisha, a security review was conducted on 16.09.2024, discussing peace and law enforcement measures. Stringent protocols, including a no-fly zone, enhanced checks, and specialized unit deployments, are in place to ensure a smooth and secure event.

Ahead of the Prime Minister's visit to Odisha, a security review was conducted on 16.09.2024, discussing peace and law enforcement measures. Stringent protocols, including a no-fly zone, enhanced checks, and specialized unit deployments, are in place to ensure a smooth and secure event. Under the supervision of DCP Bhubaneswar, Shri Prateek Singh (IPS), a team of 10 DCPs, 21 Additional DCPs, 86 ACPs, 120 Inspectors, and 329 officers was assigned responsibilities. Additionally, 81 platoons of police and two companies of CRPF were deployed. To counter and prevent any terrorist attack, three units of the Special Tactical Unit (STU) have also been stationed.
