On July 29, 2025, the Commissioner of Police extended high honors to the police personnel who demonstrated exceptional athletic prowess at the 77th State Police Volleyball & Basketball Championship 2025. The championship, held at the OASP 6th Battalion in Cuttack from July 22nd to 28th, 2025, saw remarkable achievements from the force's teams. The police volleyball team showcased outstanding skill and teamwork, securing the coveted 1st position in their category. Not to be outdone, the basketball team also delivered a stellar performance, earning a commendable 2nd position in their championship.

- On 08.01.2026, under the “Basti Ku Chala” campaign, Commissionerate Police Cuttack UPD organized a cricket tournament at Vasundhara Playground, Bidanasi, engaging youth from various localities across the city.
- Our personnel are now equipped with cutting-edge digital forensic tools and hands-on expertise for digital evidence recovery with utmost efficiency. The two-day in-house workshop, chaired by Shri Suresh Dev Dutt Singh, IPS, Police Commissioner, empowered the participants with advanced digital forensic software skills on 06.01.2026 and 07.01.2026.
- On 05.01.2026, as part of community policing, Cuttack UPD conducted a Joint Senior Citizen Outreach Programme with Markatnagar PS, CDA Phase-II PS & Cyber PS. Focus on tenant verification, cyber safety & road safety awareness to ensure a safer, informed senior community.
