On the occasion of "World Elder Abuse Awareness Day", the Federation of Senior Citizens Associations of Odisha and Police Commissionerate Bhubaneswar-Cuttack jointly organized a cybersecurity awareness session for senior citizens at Budha Mandir Auditorium, Unit-IX, Bhubaneswar, on June 21, 2025. The session was graced by Dr. Suresh Dev Datta Singh, IPS, Commissioner of Police, who served as the guest of honor. His presence underscored the importance of community involvement in combating cybercrime. A key highlight of the event was the comprehensive session delivered by ACP Suchismita Das, OPS. She meticulously educated the senior citizens on various forms of cyber fraud, offering practical advice and strategies for protection.
