On 27.03.2025, in the violent scuffle ensued during the attempt to gherao the Odisha Legislative Assembly by aggressive Odisha Congress workers; some of the on-duty police personnel received injuries and are being treated at Capital Hospital. DGP, Odisha, Sri Yogesh Bahadur Khurania, Commissioner of Police, BBSR-CTC, Sri S Dev Dutta Singh, Addl. CP, Sri Narasingha Bhola, and DCP Bhubaneswar Sri Jagmohan Meena visited the injured personnel in the hospital to inquire about their health condition and distributed fruits, medicines etc. He also announced the extension of all required help to the people undergoing treatment.
