On June 13, 2025, the Commissionerate Police, Bhubaneswar UPD successfully returned 200 missing or stolen mobile phones to their rightful owners during a Mobile Returning Mela. The event, held at the DCP Office in Bhubaneswar, brought smiles to many faces as people were reunited with their lost devices. The recovery was the result of relentless efforts by a dedicated police team. Their significant contributions were acknowledged and appreciated by Dr. Dev Dutta Singh, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Bhubaneswar-Cuttack, who presented them with appreciation letters.

- On 08.01.2026, under the “Basti Ku Chala” campaign, Commissionerate Police Cuttack UPD organized a cricket tournament at Vasundhara Playground, Bidanasi, engaging youth from various localities across the city.
- Our personnel are now equipped with cutting-edge digital forensic tools and hands-on expertise for digital evidence recovery with utmost efficiency. The two-day in-house workshop, chaired by Shri Suresh Dev Dutt Singh, IPS, Police Commissioner, empowered the participants with advanced digital forensic software skills on 06.01.2026 and 07.01.2026.
- On 05.01.2026, as part of community policing, Cuttack UPD conducted a Joint Senior Citizen Outreach Programme with Markatnagar PS, CDA Phase-II PS & Cyber PS. Focus on tenant verification, cyber safety & road safety awareness to ensure a safer, informed senior community.
