On 10.06.2025, Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi inaugurated the newly constructed office of the Dy. Commissioner, Bhubaneswar UPD. During the event, he distributed 425 two-wheelers to investigating officers from various police stations under the Commissionerate Police. Attendees at the program included MLAs Shri Babu Singh, Shri Anant Narayan Jena, and Shri Sushant Kumar Rout, along with Mayor Smt. Sulochana Das. Also present were Chief Minister’s Advisor Shri Prakash Mishra, DGP Shri Y.B. Khurania, CP Shri Suresh Devdutt Singh, Additional CP Shri Narasingh Bhola, DCP Shri Jagmohan Meena, and other senior police officers.

- On 08.01.2026, under the “Basti Ku Chala” campaign, Commissionerate Police Cuttack UPD organized a cricket tournament at Vasundhara Playground, Bidanasi, engaging youth from various localities across the city.
- Our personnel are now equipped with cutting-edge digital forensic tools and hands-on expertise for digital evidence recovery with utmost efficiency. The two-day in-house workshop, chaired by Shri Suresh Dev Dutt Singh, IPS, Police Commissioner, empowered the participants with advanced digital forensic software skills on 06.01.2026 and 07.01.2026.
- On 05.01.2026, as part of community policing, Cuttack UPD conducted a Joint Senior Citizen Outreach Programme with Markatnagar PS, CDA Phase-II PS & Cyber PS. Focus on tenant verification, cyber safety & road safety awareness to ensure a safer, informed senior community.
