As the Twin Cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack gear up to host the cricket clash between India and South Africa, Commissionerate Police convened a preparatory meeting on 02.12.2025, chaired by Police Commissioner Dr. Suresh Dev Dutta Singh, IPS along with Additional CP Shri Narasingh Bhol, IPS, and other senior officers from Bhubaneswar and Cuttack UPD. Key stakeholders from Odisha Cricket Association (OCA), Airport authority, Fire, Medical and hospitality services also participated in the discussions. We remain fully committed to ensure top-notch safety and a hassle-free experience for all spectators attending this cricketing spectacle.

- On 08.01.2026, under the “Basti Ku Chala” campaign, Commissionerate Police Cuttack UPD organized a cricket tournament at Vasundhara Playground, Bidanasi, engaging youth from various localities across the city.
- Our personnel are now equipped with cutting-edge digital forensic tools and hands-on expertise for digital evidence recovery with utmost efficiency. The two-day in-house workshop, chaired by Shri Suresh Dev Dutt Singh, IPS, Police Commissioner, empowered the participants with advanced digital forensic software skills on 06.01.2026 and 07.01.2026.
- On 05.01.2026, as part of community policing, Cuttack UPD conducted a Joint Senior Citizen Outreach Programme with Markatnagar PS, CDA Phase-II PS & Cyber PS. Focus on tenant verification, cyber safety & road safety awareness to ensure a safer, informed senior community.
