A chilling case cracked by Chandaka PS under Commissionerate Police Bhubaneswar-Cuttack on 01.11.2025. Following the discovery of a human skeleton in Chandaka Forest on 31st Oct 2025, investigators identified the victim as 72-year-old Balaram Deogam—and unearthed a dark tale of revenge rooted in superstition. Accused Kanhei Hembram and Rama Samada were arrested and forwarded to the Court. Commissioner of Police, Dr Suresh Dev Dutt Singh, IPS, lauded IIC Chandaka PS Smt. Samita Mishra and her team for their swift and sincere detection.
